Progressive teaching vs. Factual teaching
Factual teaching has it's place in the world, but not for most things. I think the only place factual teaching has is in science and math. Since both of those subjects use all sorts of numbers and experiments, they have to be factual in order to be taught. I say this because numbers and experiments have to be constant and factual in order for us to learn anything or else they wouldn't have any credibility. But if factual teaching is used for almost anything else, it defeats the purpose of teaching. Teaching is meant to let the students grow in their own intellect, not the intellect of the facts they are told. Which is why progressive teaching should be the preferred method of learning.

Thoughts on Mona Lisa Smile
I thought the movie was okay. It is a good story and shows how there are many people who try to keep up with their appearance rather than being their self. I didn't really have a favorite scene because I didn't really like the movie. The message behind the movie was good but it had too much side drama that was quite annoying and was unnecessary.

Mona Lisa Smile
I believe that "Mona Lisa Smile" will be about girls who go to college but aren't expecting to ever use their degree because they are expected to get married and only raise the kids while the husband provides for them. But then a new lady professor comes and tries to get the girls to realize that they can make their own choices and not let society tell them how they need to live their lives. In result, the girls slowly start to realize that the new professor is trying to help them and they listen to what she tells them about how they can be independent.

High School Exams and College Exams
My thoughts on these two kinds of exams are probably the same everyone else who made this post. I think college exams will be much more difficult than high school exams. Considering that most every high school teacher will go over the material that will be on the exam that already makes it ten times more easier than college exams where the professor probably won't go over the material. I honestly don't do anything to prepare for my high school exams, I just walk in and take the test. But if I am ever to take a college exam, I'm sure that I will probably end up cramming the week before (or of) the exam. I've never really studied for anything, so I guess cramming would be better than doing no studying at all.

Why I chose to join the military
The main thing I hope to accomplish by joining the military (more specifically the Air Force) is for me to go through a life changing experience that not many people go through. I think it will be a great way for me to apply myself in a way that isn't just beneficial to me, it's beneficial to my entire country. There are a few people that I am going into the Air Force for, but the main person is myself. I believe that the Air Force will help shape me into the person I want to be and give me many memories to be proud of later in life. The other two people I am joining the Air Force for are my two brothers. They are both currently serving in the Air Force, it's kind of become the family business. But it is a family business that I am willing to join. I'm also just curious to know what all my brothers have gone through. Before I joined the Air Force I talked to both of my brothers about it and they gave me all kinds of advice, I also talked to a recruiter who got me into the military just a week after getting in touch with him. The Air Force will help me achieve my goals by putting me in a good position to be successful later in life by giving me time to get a college degree for free and more time to become the person I'm meant to be.
